Some important milestones along the journey which will have lasted for 31 years.

Wensleydale Middle School first opened in 1978. The first head teacher in the school was Mr Coulthard, who stayed for 25 years until Mrs Kidd came to be head teacher in September 2003. Mr Jones took over in January 2009 to serve as head teacher for the last year of Wensleydale. Wensleydale now holds approximately 500 pupils.
